While this section contains some pieces that are not easily classified, the bulk of the work here is made to live in a typical gallery, with the white walls, cheese and wine implied therein. It doesn't consider the gallery space as neutral, but it seeks to bring its own world, a world informed by street-level materials and social realism, into the stream of cultural consciousness surrounding the gallery system.
