This piece, made in professor Marlene Malik's class in the late 1990's, is a simple conceptual and physical place for those with coins to leave them for those without. It invests infrastructure with the the relative poverty and wealth of the peoples who use the infrastructure. It marks my early relationship to the spiritual poverty of our public culture.
