Constructed of local stone,
this is a classroom for Vermont Law School - home to one of the best
environmental law programs in the country. I constructed the piece and worked
with artists Liz Billings and Andy Wasserman to modify their original design, fitting it
into the hillside that holds it. The piece is meant as a touchstone and gathering
place for the law school, the town, and the ecosystem that hosts school
and town. It sits near the bank of the White River in Vermont.
